Hi, I’m jeff, and I’m just another person that feels like I’ve been pushed in the corner, and ignored, for assistance. I can’t understand why I was never informed that any of the emergency assistance programs even existed.
We’ve been homeless for almost two months now, and spent every penny we have on hotel rooms, and food, and tomorrow we will be walking around like a couple of lost sheep because we have depleted all of our resources, and everything we’ve said to the housing authority seems to have fallen on deaf ears.
We don’t know where to go from here, because the people we thought would surely help us, seems to have turned their backs on us. I’m a 62 year old disabled man, and my wife’s 60. We won’t make it a week on the streets.
So if anyone knows how to get some hotel vouchers, or how to get in to place fast please let me know.
