Just dropping in with a quick update about the Section 8 payment standards for a 2-bedroom apartment in Houston, TX. At present, the 2024 payment standards haven’t been released yet.
So, if you’re trying to figure out potential payments, it might be useful to base your expectations on the 2023 standards. You can find these at the Houston Housing Authority website.
Over there, you’ll see two tables. One’s got the payment standards based on the number of bedrooms, and the other has the tier that matches your location or ZIP code.
Just a heads up, these numbers could change once the 2024 payment standards come out.
For the most current and accurate info, it’s a good idea to get in touch directly with the Houston Housing Authority or check out the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) website.
